So, it’s been ages since the last Track Tuesday, and I don’t even know what the results of the last poll were, but I think it was “Analogue”

For our new followers, I used to have Track Tuesdays where I’d post an a-ha song from each album based on your votes.  So, the next poll would be on Foot Of The Mountain :)  You can always check the tags page to browse a lot of past a-ha posts!

This song is absolutely beautiful and amazing!  Haunting but uplifting at the same time..  It is one of my all-time favorite a-ha songs, and any song in general!  It is the inspiration for my tumblr name, and my icon is of Magne from the music video. <3

The One You Are - Morten Harket

In honour of Morten Monday, I am being brash and using up the one audio upload of the day on one of my /favorite/ songs from Morten’s 2008 solo album “Letter From Egypt”. I identify with this song so much, I recently used it in a school assignment where we had to analyze lyrics of a song that particularly spoke to us.

I realize our little team has been quite slow with the posts lately. But, speaking for myself, and most likely for the rest of us, we really appreciate you following our a-ha tumblr blog. We wouldn’t be what we are without our followers. 

So, I am going to try and make this a fabulous Morten Monday. (Posts may be sporadic due to the fact that I am at work!)

Thanks again for sticking with us, and please enjoy this lovely song, by one of the loveliest men on earth.

I believe that this is the best cover I have ever heard.  The production and Morten’s voice sound incredible.
